The Death of InnocenceThe Death Of InnocenceThe Death of Innocence
Lennie Innocent, yet tragic. Loving, yet violent. A child, yet a man. He laughed as the world laughed at him, for he was Innocence.
Our lives, as we see them, are stairs, each part a step higher than the last. Lennie’s life however, was a meadow, going on, flat forever, yet beautiful. More beautiful perhaps, than stairs. He loved as those around him neglected him, for he was Innocence.
George, a guardian of Innocence, protected him, gave him purpose, gave him joy. He fought for him, thought for him, laughed with him,

A Lament to DeathA Lament to DeathA Lament to Death
Oh Death, You are far from me now For I am beneath the summer sun Your grip has no meaning For all I see is the flowers, the sun, and Tzipora I am full of life; your black cloak does not glide through my dreams Yet you are close
Oh Death, Now I see your face in the steely helms In your minion’s faces Their guns I see your visage now in the sun Your icy fingers are closing around Sighet
Oh Death, There is no escape from your gaze We all are lain bear before you No place to hide in this wretched cattle car
how was the papa roach concert, huh?
